Phnom Penh's Changing Skyline

You may or may not know that Cambodia is planing to build Asia's tallest building. The specs are unclear but the height of the new tower is supposed to be 555 meters. Thats taller than the Taipei 101. I was out on the Tonle Sap and snapped these shots of the city's skyline where buildings are sprouting like weeds. Undoubtably the skyline will change dramatically in the next 5 years.

Forgotten Film From Cambodia

There's thousands of reels of film at this building behind the Bophana Center. Film on shelves on floors  just laying there exposed to the elements. 16mm, 35mm, 70mm tons of it.  It makes my imagination wander and I think of the footage in years past. It's a glimpse into Cambodia's film making industry back then. Oddly enough most of the films were Russian. Go figure.
